Day 2 of the umbrellas
So today I began working on more modular pieces...mainly just one of the balcony's and the windows. Popped a bunch in just to test how they light and feel in the environment. Again this is just a test block in for now to see how things light and generally look, by the end this street may be very different. Everything was unwrapped again today as I went so that I didn't have to deal with the headache of it later on!! I'll be doing some texturing during class today.

Midterms are upon us.
Here are just a couple screen caps of what I've been working on so far for classes this quarter. Not too much to show but I feel like I've learned a ton of new tricks in the past few weeks and hopefully will be able to apply them quickly and efficiently to pick up the pace a ton for finals.

Canopy of Color!
Here is a little side project I began working on yesterday, started to experiment and see what things would begin the look like lit in UDK...hoping to actually finish this within the next 2 or 3 weeks just using modular pieces like these on the sides with bsp buildings. The whole point of it is that I wanted something I've never really seen in another portfolio before which meant it had to be pretty colorful with all this sci-fi and grunge going around. Then I remembered I had found this awesome little shopping market in Portugal with a canopy of umbrellas! So here's what has been going on for the past few hours. (everything is UNWRAPPED wooh!)

Gotham City Env. Start
Some props and modular pieces for my Gotham City Cathedral I'm working on for 3d Environments class.Stained glass windows are completely modular so I can pop whatever textures on them i want and have a bunch. Along with the Cathedral is the back alley behind it as well.

Minecar
Mine car that is going into my Mine Entrance scene. It might be sitting on tracks or turned over on it's side so I had to go into a bit of detail on the bottom and such just in case, hope it looks functional. Going to be texturing it with a rusty brown metal (iron).
