And so it begins...

After I had some fun a little bit ago with this portal idea I wanted to go ahead and fully pursue it...I began blocking in everything today and played around with the big shapes and designs for hours and hours. Got the first passes or the pillars and center floor platform with some normals on them.

Finals are over!

Here's some of the stuff I was working on this quarter...winter break is all about work this time around! March is way way way too close. If any of these projects I actually decide to keep around definitely going back and redoing ALL of the textures.

Bored

So i got bored a little while ago and through this together randomly but ended up liking it so I may continue with it once my other projects are finished....

Day 2 of the umbrellas

So today I began working on more modular pieces...mainly just one of the balcony's and the windows. Popped a bunch in just to test how they light and feel in the environment. Again this is just a test block in for now to see how things light and generally look, by the end this street may be very different. Everything was unwrapped again today as I went so that I didn't have to deal with the headache of it later on!! I'll be doing some texturing during class today.
